Education and knowledge of the au pair
An au pair has:
- at least a secondary school degree,
- at least a good knowledge of English, French, Dutch or German,
- experience in childcare,
- a good health to be able to take care of children, and
A sense of responsibility and a sound attitude are of course important characteristics for an au pair to make the integration in the host family successful.
